I can help you write.
We each bring our own visions, processes, and specific needs to our writing. And, whether you’re a novice or a seasoned author, facing that blank page (or screen) can feel new each time.
That’s why I don’t use a cookie cutter approach, as every person and project are different. Let’s talk about your project and explore what kind of support might work for you.
I can help with a variety of genres:
Personal stories, Essays, and Memoirs
We all have stories to tell, memories to capture, and recollections to share on the page.
No matter what your vision might be, I can support you to cultivate your authentic voice and help you shape your writing in a way that best reflects the spirit of your story.
I’ll help you to create an initial draft, guide you through revisions and changes, (if that’s your choice), and assist in identifying publishing opportunities.
Anthologies and Memory Collections
I recently self-published an anthology of 80+ stories for the anniversary of a summer camp where I’d once served as director. The project emerged as I listened to community members compare their memories, and I envisioned a collection of these stories for everyone.
The book was a hit at the anniversary celebration. It inspired attendees to share more of their own remembrances, and included the voices of friends who were not at the event.
I can help you create and self-publish an anthology or memory collection to mark any event: anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, memorials, or retirement.
Organizational Writing
I’ve written newsletters, speeches, proposals, white papers, and other organizational materials.
Let’s discuss what your organization needs.
